FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What if there is bad weather?
A: Whenever possible we will try and get the shoot in. Very rarely do we need to cancel. We love the clouds and light that summer showers and scattered storms bring, so don’t worry if you see rain clouds on the forecast days before your shoot. As they say in Hawai’i, “No Rain, No Rainbows.”
There are times when mother nature just will not cooperate, and in these rare cases we try and reschedule. If there is no way to get the shoot in while you are in Ocean City, I will return your deposit and we will try another time. I do reserve the right to make the final decision to cancel for bad weather.
Q: What should we wear?
A: Great question. Naturally how everyone looks has a direct effect on the outcome of the portraits. The new school of thought is to pick a palette of three or four colors and let everyone pick within that palette. Pinterest has great ideas and examples and is a great resource. Search for “beach photo outfit ideas.”
Q: How long will my photos take, and how will I receive them?
A: Culling and editing your photos is a large part of the process. Generally, it takes about two weeks before you get your photos back. Your photos will be placed in an online personal gallery and from there you can download any or all of your photos. You can also order prints directly from the gallery.
Q: What payment do you accept, and when do I make the final payment?
A: My preferred payment methods are Zelle and Venmo. I also will accept check or cash. If you prefer, I can send an invoice to pay by credit or debit card. A deposit is due when you sign the contract. Your final payment is due on the day of the shoot.
Q: Where are your favorite places in the area for photo sessions?
A: I love to do sunrise and sunset sessions at the OC Inlet and Fenwick Island State Park.
